COMPOSERS IN UNIFORM

That is the title of one of the features of 'It's All Yours,' the 1 BBC weekly short wave programme to forces in lonely outposts. The first uniformed composer in tlie series was David Heneker (now a Lieutenant in khaki). He wrote 'There Gees my Dream.' 'Mist on the River,' and later the lyric of 'Some Chicken —Some Neck' prompted by Mr Churchill's famous remark in his great speech to the Canadian Parliament. Tn the programme, Heneker sang one of his new hits, 'Tell Your Troubles to the Breeze.' This song lias featured in one hundred pantomimes in Britain. Another composer in uniform, Phil Park, organist, and now in the Army, conducted his latest composition 'Swing Bugler.' in the programme, with .Taek Leon's orchestra. All the London dance bands are playing 'Swing Bugler.'
