CAUGHT IN THE ACT
MAORI WOMAN AND LIQUOR L INCIDENT IN BATHING SHED Constable' Thoniassen. in the Court yesterday morning related how he surprised a number o>f Maoris in the Lathing shed on the launch wharf on the evening of April II last. Hearing voices he discocvered two women and a man in the structure. One woman Uru Iloroparapara who was charged was in the act of drinking from an opened, beer bottle but refused tot state where she obtained it. The other two also pleaded ignorance . Defendant was fined £2 and costs 2ls fid.
