PRISONER OF WAR PREVIOUSLY REPORTED KILLED IN ACTION
Mirs M. Rolleston, of Maketu, has 'received a letter from her son, Private Christie Rolleston, who* was previously reported killed in action in Crete, saying that he is a prisoner, •of war and is. in hospital somewhere in Greece. " In, his ; communication to his -mother, Private Rolleston says he was wounded, but is recovering. The hospital' in which he is a patient is conducted by Australians under Gerjnjgvlaws, and the prisoners of war well treated. Private Rolleston who was a welllinowrL footballer in the Bay of Plenty before enlisting with the Maori Battalion and leaving for overseas, sends his kind regards to ;all old friends in the village of .Maketu.
