RUMOUR UNFOUNDED
NO MENINGITIS LOCALLY
A rumour was rife yesterday that a case of meningitis had been admitted to the local hoslpital. Interviewed by the BEACON, the superintendent of the local hospital, Dr E. T. Dawson, stated' yesterday that thie rumour was absolutely without foundation and there was no need for alarm to be felt.
