CAPITATION FEES RECEIVED The county treasurer, Mr C. G. Lucas, reported to yesterday's meeting that oil July 14 £165 6s being 1 the capitation Home Guard grant, Whakatane Command, from October 1 to December 31 effective, 1,002 Gua;rdismen at 2s (£IOO 4s), January 31 to March 31 effective 1,302 Guardsmen at ls> (£65 2s). The Home Secretary has been asked for instructions as to the disposal of such funds.
