MOTOR COLLISION

MOTOR CYCLE ANI> LORRY

A collision occurred on the Coast road during last week between a motor cycle and a motor lorry. Tke accident occurred on a bend near Torere. The truck, which is owned by Messrs Drake Bros., and driven by Mr Wairepa Tangira, had pulled up when it was struck head-<on bv the motor cycle. The rider of the motor cycle, Mr Geo. R. Sibley, who is employed by Mr Walker. Waihau Bay, as a mechanic, was thrown on to the handle bars. He was brought into Opotiki by truck and after receiving medical attention was admitted to hospital. \t was found that his injuries were very slight and he has been discharged from hospital.
