GARDEN PARTY

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH EVENT The ladies of the Matata P.WJVI.U held a very successful garden party at Mts Smith's residence on Saturday 15th March. Mrs R. Wilson. Mrs Howat and Mrs McCracken did brisk business on the trading stall, while Mesdaraes Caverhill, Smith, Magee and Kiulcy attended to the afternoon tea. Mrs E. A. Hill guessed the correct weight of tlie cake, Mrs J. Howat won the ladder golf, and Mk<* Cowie the Quoits. Altogether a very pleasant afternoon was enjoyed by all present, and church funds will benefit considerably. /
