HOLIDAY-MAKERS ARRIVING
OHOPE is preparing for the busy days ahead. Already accommodation on the beaah is taxed to the utmost,,, but bookings for the season are known to include every bach, shed or garage in the settlement. Any forecasts to the effect that' Ohope this year would suffer as a result of the * war conditions have been, proved to be entirely without foun elation, and the resort appears to be as popular as. ever. ' There is however a change in the type of visitor. This in'deed is the outcome of the war., for the average person (judging by the bookings) who will spend their holidays at the beach, will! be more of the family type than in the past. Ohope can therefore look forward this year to a larger auota of children than, is customary.
