MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS HIGH PERCENTAGE PASS FIT A sitting of the Medical Board was held in Wliakatane on Wednesday, conducting further examinations of men for army service. The recruiting officer, Lieutenant G. A. Head,, reports that the percentage of men passed as fit was very much higher than at previous examinations and, in fact, is the best so far reported in New Zealand, Sixty-three per cent of those examined were passed fit for overseas service and for combined overseas and Territorial service 74 per cent passed fit.
