AN APPRECIATION

Sir,—May I beg space in your valuable paper to express gratitude and thanks to the older and more experienced fanners who take such an interest in our local "Young Farmers" Club. Just as in the fighting lines of 11)14 our fathers set those who follow them in this struggle such a noble example, so our pioneer farmers give us the inspiration and hope expressed in our Y.F.C. move ment. At the recent Y.F.C. debate it gave one courage to see so many older farmers of the surrounding districts helping and encouraging along a movement which is so essential in the farming community of to-day. Yours etc., "A YOU-NG FARMER." (Edgecumbe). * _
