' ' ' I YOUNG FARMERS' . CLUB MOVEMENT IMPORTANCE OF ACTIVITIES I The Young Farmers" Club movement was growing rapidly throughout New Zealand, said Mr D. -W. Ross, Te Puke, Chairman of the Auck land provincial Council, when speakings at the conclusion of the Bay of Plenty Clubs' debating final at Edge■cumbe on Thursday night. introduced by Mr W. A. McCracken, chairman of the district committee, Mr Ross stressed the importance of the movement and urged farmers to encourage the younger men to join. He congratulated both teams on the standard of the debating :md presented the Shield to Mr R, P. Woolfield,. Leader of the successful Waimana'trio'.
