A HITLER STAMP

DEPICTS A "KIND MAN" A new postage stamp has been issued in Germany in celebration of Hitler's 51st birthday, which took place on April 20. It is a reproduction of one of a special series of photographs taken by Heinrich Hoffman, with the object of showing that the Fuehrer is *'a kind man, who loves children."' The stamp shows Hitler bending over a little girl with what is described as "n sympathetic expression." Someone suggests that the illustration is faked, contending that a man who could deliberately plunge nations into war as Adolf Hitler lias done could not possibly have a sympathetic expression.
