SCHOOL ACCOMODATION
Parents of children attending the Whakatane school will read in today's issue, with much satisfaction, the efforts of the Auckland Education Board to bring about an limprove:ment in the local school accomodation. The widespread resentment at the exising state of affirs would doubtless have led to drastic action by the parents as a body, had something not been done to relieve the position. From the letter in the BEACON it will be seen that certain building improvements are in hand which should go a long way towards overcoming the present complaints.
