CONCERN CAUSED

CHILD THOUGHT DROWNED Concern was caused in the Te "T'eko district when it was feared that an infant girl, who was missing from her home, had b/n drown ed in the Rangitaiki River. The police were communicated with and : Sergeant Farrell and Constable Fuller proceeded to the scene. The child was later discovered asleep : in a patch of maize.
