LITTLE GIRL'S DEATH

SCALDED WITH BOILING WATER ACCIDENT AT HOME As a result of extensive scalds, little Marlene Sisam, aged two years daughter of Mr and Mrs L. A. Sisam of King Street. Whakatane, died in the Public Hospital early this morning. The accident occurred at her home, when playing in the vicinity of an electric hot water jug she became entangled in the lead and pulled the hot contents over her shoulders and back. The deepest sympathy will be felt in town and district for her parents.
