PLANES OVER BERLIN
ANTI AIRCRAFT GUNS ACTIVE | STATE OF NERVOUS TENSION Two separate air raid scares took place in Berlin on Saturday night when the alarms sounded and the radio ceased broadcasting. Anti aircraft guns were heard in action in two parts of the city reducing the populace to a state of high nervous tension. It was reported from neutral countries that Berlir had been bombed, but a communique issued by both the Royal Air Force and the French authorities shows that no lighting planes were over the capital at that lime. It is thought that the scare may have arisen by the presence of a possible reeonnaisance plane flying at a great height.
