TANEATUA SUB-BRANCH HOME NURSING CLASSES A largely attended mei'ting of those interested in the formation of a branch of the Red Cross Society wos held in the Domain Pavilion on Wednesday evening last. Mrs W. Sullivan and Mrs Pcarse of Whakatane addressed the meeting. It was unanimously agreed upon that a branch be formed and the following officers were elected: President] Rev J. Stewart; vice-presidents,, Mrs N. Semmens Mrs Mitchell. Mr A: McGougan: chairwoman, Mrs E. H. Hill; secretary. Miss M. Howell; executive committee, Mesdames Bennett and McPeake and Misses Peebles, Tebbutt, Pridcaux, Mackay and Messrs F. C. Yeoman and T., Hill. , All present were elected to a general committee with power to add.' Home nursing classes will be commenced as soon as the necessary arrangements can, be made, and all persons desirous of taking the classes are asked to get in touch with the secretary.
