PAY-OUT AT 18.229 D . The report of the Waimana Dairy; Company Ltd was presented at the? company's annual meeting at Waimana last month. The season's average paj'out over all grades was shown as 18.229 d per lb, as compared with 16.47 d last year. The. output of cheese was 251 tons IScw.t 87 lbs, a decrease of approximately 62 tons compared with the previous year. The average grade for the sea_ son was 92.976. Other statistics showed that the number of suppliers,, was 13 froms [ whom 5,536,4641bs milk were received. the pounds of. butterfat from milk being 226,397. The total charges from factory to F. 0.8. were 4.46&1 as compared with 3.536 d last year due mainly to increased costs of wages and factory requisites and a decline in output brought about by the unfavourable season. A dividend of 2% per cent was pajd on the paid up capital absorbing £77 5s Bd. ' Mr E. S. Addison Junr. whc\ retired by rotation was re-elected to thev directorate, and Mr F. Prideaux was: again appointed auditor.
