CHILDREN'S FANCY DRESSES
OTAKIRI SCHOOL BALL GAY SCENES IN HALL The Otnkiri Hall was taxed to capacity on the occasion of the annual y school ball. The scene was one of the brightest seen in the district and represented the school childs gala , of the year. It would he safe to sa3 r that practically every pupil was pre li sent, their numbers being further # augmented by visitors and a number of toddlers who were also resplendent in fancy dresses and were by no means the least attractive. A full programme of folk dances and musica,l games wasi presented cuL, minating insupper served by the ladies, and a general dance for the ndult section t'll midnight. The children provided very pleas, ing the credit for which was due directly to their teachers .Miss Pinhoy and Miss Tunnicliffe whose training was augmented by the interest of the headmaster's wife Mrs these ladies receiving bouquets as a mark of appreciation from the parents and pupils.
