Later in the year he was stepped out for the Grand National Hurdle race ? and with 10.5 won in convincing stylo. Towards the end of the year he contested flat events unsuccessfully, but later again joined the ranks of the jumpers, and on Tuesday last was victorious in the Grand National Steeplechase.
