MAORI GAME TO STAND The secretary of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union, Mr W. S. Henderson, had a long telephone conversation on Thursday with Mr S. S. Dean Wei lington, who informed him that the New Zealand Rugby Union could not grant the Bay of Plenty a full representative match against the touring Fijians. The team to meet the Fijians will thus be chosen from Bay of Plenty Maoris, the game to be played at Rotorua on August 23. Several other matters in connection with Bay' of Plenty football were and a, statement on this will be made later.
