floating in drain ' MAN HAD BEEN MISSING FOR FORTNIGHT The body of a man, believed to be Hobsori, of Waihi, thougHt to be about 45 years of age, was found floating face downwards in a drain , about half a mile from the Whakatane Paper Mills yesterday. The i /.man is understood to have been missing since Saturday, July 22nd, when "he was last seen alive near the housnear the spot where he was found. Little is known about the deceased. He is understood to have been a single man and is thought to have "had a married sister living in Auckland, though her name is not known. The cause of death is as yet a mystery. An inquest will open some time to_ --day.
