Applications are invited from officers (with not l'ess than three years' commissioned service) to fi.ll 18 vacancies in the Regular Forces. Candidates must be physically lit and aged not less than 21 years or more than 35 except in cases of officers who have had active ser* vice experience or who have served as Commissioned Officers in a Regular Unit or Corps. Period of appointment will be for not less than 1% years or more than 4% years. The first six months' sar. vice will be o n probation. Rank on appointment will be governed by mili tary qualifications, experience and record of service. Further particulars obtainable from any Dcfence Office. Applications will be received by District Headquarters, Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch up to 10th August, 1939. 29 NEW ZEALAND REGULAR MILITARY FORCES SHORT SERVICE ENLISTMENT To fill 18 vacancics in the N.Z. Permanent Staff applications are invited from Warrant Officers and N.C.O.'s with not less than three years' service in a Regular Unit or in the N.Z. Territorial Force. Candidates must be physically fit, aged not less than 23 years or more than 35 years except in cases of ap. nlicants who have special qualifications. Period of appointment will be for rot less than two years of more than three years. The first six months' se r vice will be on probat on.
