LABOUR INTERESTS

AWAKERI BRANCH The regular monthly, meeting of the Awakeri Labour Party branch, was held on Tuesday night in the Awake ri Hall. There was a good attendance of members and many important subjects were discussed. Arising out of the discussion on guaranteed prices it was unanimous, ly resolved to communicate to the Government, the branch's continued support of the Principle of Guaranteed Prices. The 15th of August was decided on as the date of the next party dance to be held in the Awaken Hall. At the conclusion of business, supper was served by the ladies, bringing to a close a very pleasant evening.
