The licensing of buLs and the elimination of inferior .bulls has done much for the improvement of cattle. It Is felt that the eliminating of the ''scrub" boar would mean a great improvement in the quality of British pigs. It will 'oe generally agreed that too many inferior boars are being used in New Zealand to_dHy and something will have to be done in the near future to stop the'r use if the quality of the Dominion's pork and bacon is to be improved.
