Agriculture with representatives of uig breeding and agricultural socio, farmers' unions and bacon, trade 'interests, on the question of the licensing of boars. The licensing of buLs and the elimination of inferior .bulls has done much for the improvement of cattle. It Is felt that the eliminating of the ''scrub" boar would mean a great improvement in the quality of British pigs. It will 'oe generally agreed that too many inferior boars are being used in New Zealand to_dHy and something will have to be done in the near future to stop the'r use if the quality of the Dominion's pork and bacon is to be improved.
