—o EDGECUMBE PIG SALE The Farmers' Auctioneering Co. held their fortnightly pig sale at the above yards on Monday when they offered a good of pigs to a large bench of buyers from both outside and local. Competition was keen from start to finish and everything sold under the hammer in vcn_ dors favour. No bacon pigs were offered. We quote as follows: — Heavy porkers £2 14s to £2 19s; medium £2 6s to £2 12s; light £1 16s to £2; large stores 38s to £2 6s; medium stores 30,5 to 365; slips 25s to 30s; weaners, small to 15s. The next sale will be held on, 31 July when outside buttermilk buyers from the Waikato will be in operation.
