- u ROUTE AVOIDING HOSPITAL MR HULTQUIST CONFIDENT Mr A. G. M. P., in a letter from Wellington says that he is .still collecting information frouj the Public Works Department in icference to tlie Coast highway. No decision has been made yet, but he is quite confident that the road will not he taken past the hospital. Mr Hultquist thinks it will go up the Maraetotara Gorge, but he is not greatly concerned as the meeting in Whakatane did not favour any particular route. He is thus quite content to leave it to the Public Works Department.
