ROLLS OVER INTO POOL J? EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED Considerable damage was done on Saturday night to a car otyned and driven by Mr C. VV.. Le Vcsque, Rotonia? a visitor to when, through unfamiliarity with the he misjudged the corner Mills turn-off on the Tauranga road and skidded into a tidal pool by the side of the road, the car turning over cnce and coming to rest on its side. Beyond trifling cuts and abrasions none of the passengers were hurt, but they had an unpleasant drenching in bitterly cold water. Fortunately ths accident occurred when* the tide was fairly low, so the drain connecting with the pool not backed for later as the tide tosg the water completely covered the star. Armstrong and Co's breakdown truck was summoned about thr**o oeloclt on Sunday morning, but was too much water in the hole, amt the car could not be moved until later in the day. It was found that the body wo r k was extensively damaged, and it/has been necessary to dismantle every part of the vehicle in order to cleau out all traces of salt.
