OBITUARY
o MR WILLIAM SPRY The funeral of the late William Spry took place at the Whakatane Cemetery on Tuesday morning uncle? the direction of the Whakatane Returned Soldiers' Association. A firing party under the direction of Lieut. Barclay, were in attendance, and Ivlr Wm. Jarrett sounded the Last Post . A good muster of returned soldiers under the direction of the president, Mr H. N. McDonald, also a good muster of Public Works employees followed the cortege., and • a good number of the friends of the late deceased soldier attended and placed floral tributes pa,jthe grave.
