FINAL CRAIGAVON SALE
GOOD AVERAGE PRICES BULL AT 65 GUINEAS There was a large attendance of Jersej' breeders at the final sale of Craigavon Stud Jerseys held on account of Mr R..Fleming at.Waimana. Breeders wei'e present from Auckland, King Country and all parts of the Bay of Plenty districts. The cattle came forward in excellent condition and bidding was steady throughout the sale on both the r : s. ing two 3*ear heifers and the cows. There was keen competition for the six year old stud bull Meon Nabob; a son of the sensational sire Bramptoji Dreaming Sam (imp) frpm the greTit breeding cow Snowview Lassie. Mr F. O. R. Phillips, Meadowland, Otorohanga, was the nurchaser at 65 guineas. The top price for a rising two yea'* heifer at 38 guineas was paid by Mr 11. C. Wilson, l*apamoa y for Craigavon Dawn a daughter of Meon Lucre y.11.C, C.O.R 6081b.s fat at three years. The highest price for cows was paid by Messrs Boon and Berg, Whakatane, for Wellfield Hopeful Lass at 37 guineas the same buyers securing the cow Penrose Bunty for 36 guineas.
