A PRESSMAN'S RAMBLE

INTERESTING TRADE EXHIBITS

A Winter -Show with its varied exhibits, rows of yegetables, and. Home Industries, has an atmosphere all its own. There is the eve£_moving crowd, the ceaseless buzz of the pulsation, of half a dozen demonstrator milking machines, the sharp discharge of the mechanical pumping apparatus, while above all the shrill demands of th e side showmen| calling insistently for patrons. The whole impression is one of businesslike acblended with a very pleasant feeling of relaxation, and a modified form of complete peace with ones fellows. Such was indeed the impression of a solitary pressman,, who last Saturday ventured a casual round of the stalls and Show benches. Apart from, the mammoth vegetable,?, the dainty, works of art, and the culinary ex- ' hi.'ifts of the housewife's'skill, the Trade Exhibits were in themselves most interesting.
