STUD DISPERSAL SALE GOOD PRICES REALISED Steady competition from Bay of Plenty and Waikato buyers, who were in strong attendance at -be "Caerleon"' Stud Jersey dispersal held on account of Mr E. Hoffman, Ivati Kati, resulted in a very satisfactory clearance of the herd and young stock. The top price of the day was 36 guineas paid for the 11 year old Y.H.C. cow "Finniston purchased by Mr D. J. Hobart, of Te Aroha; while the same purchaser also bought an outstanding cow, ''Marlows Margaret Rose,'' at the same figure. Young cows of good backing wova 111 particularly good demand, real is. jng 26 guineas, while there was ready competition from dairymen for moreaged cows of good type which proved excellent buying at figures slight, lv above grades. The whole offering averaged 12V-i guineas. A small number of 2 year old bulls j were sold, prices ranging from 15 to 29 guineas; while yearling bulls sold at from 6 to 22 guineas. Individual realisations were as follows; Cranbrook Flirt at 2Cgns; Caer leon Luck Dorothy at 21gns; and Tauwhare Tangle at ISgus purchased by Mr R. C. Wilson, Pnpamoa; Caer kon Memory's Tui at 23gns, and Cranbrook/ Daisy at 21gns purchased by Mr C. Hazelton, Matamata; Caerleon Laura at 22gns purchased by Mr B. Mossop, Papflmoa; Caerleon Lena H.C. at 18gns purchased by Mr L. Whakatane: Caerleon Nerbina H.C. at Higns; IMarlowes Scnorita at logns and Caerleon Lorna at logns purchased by Mr L. G. Wilkinson, Ngahinepouri; Cranbrook Lavender at logns purchased by Mr E. 3. Lemon, Tc Puke; and Lyndhurst Aria line at lT>gns purchased by Mr E. E. Viale.
