ELDERLY MAT AT A PENSIONER INQUEST OPENS TO.tDAY An inquest will be held into the sudden death of George Smj T th Peacock, single a pensioner, aged G8 years, whose body was discovered iji his cottage at Matata on Saturday afternoon. Deceased had not been seen since before midday on Friday, and a search was made. Peacock had recently told neighbours that he hod been vomiting blood. A post mortem will probably be'held and the inquest opened at two o'clock to-day at the Whakatane Courthouse.
