MR HULTQUIST'S MONTH TOURING THE ELECTORATE Mr A. G. Hultquist, MVP.,, left Whakatane today for Matawai, where he delivers a public address this evening on the subject of "Exchange Control and the Government's Financial Policy.'' On Thursday Mr Hultquist will make calls a,t Rakau. roa and Te Karaka en route to Gisborne where he has a number of engagements on Friday. In the evening he will be the guest at an annual reunion of Party members at Kaitera. tahi and on Saturday next he will address a Maori gathering at Puha. TOURING COAST. On Monday he is to commence a tour of the East Coast as follows:—• Tuesday, May 30 at Whakaangiangi where he opens the new school; Hicks Bay and Te Araroa. On Wednesday he will be at Tiki Tiki, Ruatoria and Waitakaro where he addresses a Maori gathering. On June Ihe speaks at Waipiro Bay, Te Puia Springs and Tokomaru Bay and next day at Tolaga Bay and Whangara. On Saturday he will meet members of the new Waerenga.a-hika branch and during that week-end will visit Whatatutu and. other places adjacent to Gisborne. He, plans to return to Whakatane on, Monday June 5 to attend a branch meeting, at Awakeri on June 6, and is to open the Bay of Plenty Winter Show on Wednesday. On the Friday Mr Hultquist will leave for Wellington to attend a meeting of the National Executive of the Party and during the Aveek following he pays a visit to places on the East Coast between Opotiki and Cape Runaway. The visits above outlined are in the nature of a presessional tour for the purpose of meeting electors. Mr Hult quest expects that Parliament will ope n on Tuesday, June 27.
