DRESSING SHEDS
Sir ? —As a new-comer, Ito Whakatane who watched the football on the Damain on Saturday let me say that I was astonished to see the teanis stripping and changing on the ground. 1 don't oppose this from the prudish point of view, as there is in my opinion nothing very offensive In the sight of a welLbuilt young man putting his shirt on, and those who find it o i fen.siv e "can- look-I frt-f way, but I think from the heailljt point of as well as that of com fort, proper dressing facilities would be desirable. After all, the weather will not always be fine and it is no fun pulling a sodden jersey off, and puttimg shirt and trousers on over at muddied and welt skin while the raia beats down on you. I understand the Domain is to be floodlit fbr night training if the clubs can raise the necessary funds. This is an excellent idea ? and the next step should be ant cifort to get proper dressing rooms, which perhaps could be built ..nder a grandstand. It is really a pity that the schemes could not be combined as a general plan for Domain Improvement . I don't know what bas£happened to the Hon, W. E. Parry's * physical fitness drive. There was talk of grants under this movement for improving sporting facilities. Yours etc., NEW RESIDENT*
