Pateriki Kingi, a native labourer, of Taneatua, who was arrested at

Taneatua on Saturday afternoon, appeared before Messrs J. Moody and Hayward J's.P., on Monday at Taneatua on a charge of drunkenness, and of the theft of glasses from the Taneatua Hotel.

v Ivingi was convicted and discharged on the first charge and was fined £2 for theft. He was prohibited for

one year
