TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL Pursuant to Section 13 of the Local Bodips Loans Act, 1926,1 hereby give notice that at a poll of. ratepayers of the County of Tauranga, taken on the 28th day of September, 1949 on the proposal of the Tauranga County Council to borrow the sum of £124,425 for road improvement works in the County of Tauranga. The number of votes recorded FOR the proposal was 540. The number of votes recorded AGAINST the proposal was 307. I therefore declare that the proposal was CARRIED.
