ALBION CRICKET CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING IN ■ TAURANGA TE PUKE CLUB'S DECISION REGRETTED Regret that the Tc Puke Cricket Club has withdrawn from the Tauranga Cricket Association's competitions was expressed at the annual meeting in Tauranga of the Albion Cricket Club. The Te Puke club, it was reported, intended playing in the Pongakawa Association's competitions during the coming season. The finances of the club were reported to be sound. It was decided to hold over the- appointment of a club captain until the opening of the playing season. The election of officers resulted:— Patrcn, Mr H. J, Bradmore; president, Mr R. F. Moorhead; vicepresidents. Messrs J. Mackay, S. Randell, G. Franklin. R. H. Hay, W. J. Stevens, D. W. Garland, G. L. Green, G. A. Foster, W. E. Barnard, D. G. Sinclair, Mrs D. G. Sinclair and Miss E. Cairns; secretarytreasurer, Mr N. Murray; hon. auditor, Mr W. R. Simmonds; delegates to association, Messrs W. R. Simmonds, R. Simister and D. Mackay.
