MATAMATA BOWLERS IN TAURANGA

A friendly inter-club challenge game of bowls was played on the Domain green during the week between a team from the Matamata Club and the Tauranga Club. Two games were played, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, the Matamata team meeting two individual teams from the home club. Results are as follows, (Tauranga names being mentioned first). Morning game: A. Peppercorn. P. Sutton, W. Turner, V. Potter (26), T. Blake, D. Gunn, F. Lansdown, J. Lock (11). Afternoon game: F. Symes, H. Hall, T. Doherty, PI. Conder (19). T. Blake D. Gunn, J. Lock, F. Lansdown (20).
