Increase For N.Z. Farmers
(P.A.) Wellington', Aug 1!). An increase of 0.98 d per lb in the guaranteed prices for butter and cheese was announced by the chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing ComMission, Mr W. Marshall. The new prices are 28.244 d per« lb for butterfat for butter manufacture and 30.244 d for cheese manufacture. They operate for the 12 months, beginning August 1, 1949.
