Mr Harold Wilson, now on a trade tour of Canada, told reporters at Ottawa today thai Great Britain would try hard to break into the Canadian markets in a big way. Ho had found no lack of goodwill towards British goods in Canada, but Canadians had been influenced by United States taste and advertising and we were having to design goods esneciallv for them, he said. Mr Wilson denied that British production methods were a long way behind those of the United Stains, saving that many of their methods of mass production could "ni he arm Med to br’tish industries. He said that Great Britain did not intend to buy any wheat from the Russians but the talks for a trade agreement with' them were continuing.
