LENGTHY TASMAN CROSSING.—Mr E. B. Chapman, skipper-owner of the 15-ton ketch-rigged yacht Waitangi which arrived in Sydney recently after a 22-day voyage from Auckland. During a storm in the Tasman Ocean the tiller snapped. The yacht travelled the last 300 miles of the trip using a tiller made from an old harpoon.
