KAIMAI PICNIC DANCE

VARIED PROGRAMME OF ITEMS (Times Correspondent) The annual picnic dance was held in the Kaimai Hall recently and was an enjoyable conclusion to the day's activities as reported elsewhere. There was a large gathering present from surrounding districts. Music for dancing, was supplied bv Mrs H. Sinclair, Mr D. Ccubrough and Mr D. Stephens. The duties of master of ceremonies were carried out by Mr L. Pir:ka. Throughout the evening items were presented to an appreciative audience by the following: The Peterson Sisters (Omanawa), Delia and June Ormsbv. Norah and Susan Te Amo, Mr J. Clark. Mr M. Edwards and Mr B. Barlow. On behalf of the Schocl and Picnic Committees, Mr H. Stephens thanked those who had given assistance and those who attended the combined functions.
