TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL. TE MAUNGA SPECIAL DRAINAGE DISTRICT. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on Monday, 28th. February 1949, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the Ordinary Monthly Meeting of the Council, to be held on Monday, 28th. March, 1949, at 9.30 a.m. at the Council Chambers, Spring Street, Tauranga. RESOLUTION. THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 168 of the Counties Act, 1920, the Tauranga County Council on the petition of the majority of the ratepayers of the District hereinafter mentioned resolves and declares by way of Special Order, as follows: — 1. That part of the County of Tauranga described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a district for the purpose of maintenance and construction of drainage works therein. 2. The name of the said District shall be ' the TE MAUNGA SPECIAL DRAINAGE DISTRICT. 3. This Speci'al Order shall take effect on the first day of April 1949. SCHEDULE. (Here follows a detailed description of the Boundaries of the said District being the same boundaries as set out in the petition of ratepayers for declaration of the Speci'al Drainage District). A copy of the said resolution is deposited at the Office of the Council. Spring Street, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection by the public during office hours up to the date of the last aforementioned meeting. Tauranga. E. MORLAND FOX, Ist. March, 1949.
