WOMAN SCIENTIST FOR LONDON
A young Christchurch scientist, Mrs C. A. Wi’ggins, has left from Auckland to take up a research scholarship at the Royal Institution, ■London. Mrs Wiggins, who was formerly Miss Philippa Glasgow, graduated M.Sc. in 1947, with honours in chemistry. For some time she worked as a demonstrator in the chemistry department at Canterbury University College. Her special interest is reaction kinetics.
