THIRD IN SUNSHINE LIST FOR DOMINION
Tauranga was not outstanding m the gazetted climatological table for November. The most noticeable point was the total of 200. i hours ! of bright sunshine, an average of about seven and a half hours a day. The total was easily bettered byQueenstown with 246.7 hours of sunshine and was just topped by Kerikeri with 234.3 hours. Rainfall was above average,- not only in the Bay of Plenty but also throughout most parts of the Dominion and the total lor Tauranga was 4.94 Inches on 19 days, 1.60 inches above normal. The average maximum temperature was 66.9 degrees and the average minimum 50.1 degrees giving an average tempeiatuie foi The month of 58.5 degrees. This figure was .3 degrees below normal. The highest maximum temperature was 73.9 on November 28 and .the lowest minimum 39.2 degrees on November 19.
