MEMORIAL CUP SHOOT
TAURANGA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB
A. W. WARREN LEADS COMPETITORS
The first shoot under service conditions for the Memorial Cup was fired ever the 200 and 300 yard ranges by members of the Tauranga Defence Rifle Club on Saturday. A. W. Warren with an aggregate score of 93 is leading those eligible to compete for the cup.
C. J. Kiddie, with 47 out of possible 50 points, won the 200 yard sweepstake. With totals of 48 points each the 300 yard sweepstake was keenly contested by A. W. Warren and H. W. Harpham. A shoot-off resulted in a win for H. W. Harpham who. with an aggregate of 92, also qualifies for a silver spoon. The following were the principal scores; —
