ASSISTING BRITISH FARMERS

NEW ZEALAND EXPERT’S VISIT (P.A.) Timaru, August 3. ‘The assistant Director-General of Agriculture, Mr R. B. Tennent. will leave tomorrow for Britain on a visit lasting several months to study British agriculture and advise farmers in the United Kingdom on the establishment and maintenance of pastures,” said the DirectorGeneral, Mr E. J. Fawcett, when opening a winter farm course in Timaru this afternoon, _ Mr Tennent will be joined later in the year by Mr S. B. Levy, director of the Grasslands Division.
