PROVIDING HOUSES FOR FIREMEN
HAMILTON BOARD’S LOAN PROPOSAL
(P.A.) Hamilton, July 1. The Hamilton Fire Board is considering a proposal to raise an additional sum of £4,000, making a total of £16,000, for the purpose of erecting residential quarters for married members of the brigade. The dwellings will be erected on a site adjacent to the station in Anglesea Street, Hamilton. The loan charges will be met from the ordinary revenue of the board and no special rate is proposed.
