N.Z.'S DAIRY YIELD

INCREASE IN PRODUCTION EXPERIENCED

PROMISE TO BRITAIN FULFILLED

Dairy production in the Dominion for the season now ending would show an increase of about G to 7 per cent., compared with the previous season, said the chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, Mr W. E, Halo, today.' He was speaking at the annual conference cf the north ward in Whangarci. Droughts in the Waikato, Hawke’s Bay, Wairarnpa and Manawatu had adversely affected dairying, said Mr Kale. Mr Hale said that the Dairy Board had no power to prohibit publication. but it favoured such a move, and he would suggest to the 18 companies ho had vet to meet in all parts of New Zealand that dairy companies bind themselves not to release monthly output and payout figures for publication.
